Christine Ai ('Cai') is an international fashion illustrator who has breathed life into some of the biggest known names in fashion and beauty. She has worked in the fashion industry for over 10 years with various luxury clients globally. Cai started her professional career as an environmental and human rights lawyer before working as a music and fashion photographer. She is now a leader in the fashion illustration industry under the brand Soy Street and founded the luxury wedding painting brand Amore Day.

Cai is a true business woman having cultivated a string of successful businesses while also advocating for the delivery of visual arts projects and services to regional and remote communities and young vulnerable women. She has also developed presentations to foster a community to inspire artists and communities, as well as helping to overcome the impacts of regional isolation and remote living.

Her art is recognised as being perfectly imperfect as it typically features lines and smudges and have been commissioned by magazines and clients globally. Among some of her clients are: Tiffany and Co, Patek Philippe, Prada, Miu Miu, BVLGARI, Fred Jewelery, Guerlain, Moncler, Montblanc, Armani, Fendi and more. Her work has been featured in local and international publications including: i-D Magazine, Vogue US, Vogue China and is commissioned to travel for live runway and event illustration at international events such as Milan Fashion Week.

 

Cai is also a keynote speaker and a lecturer at The Institute of Creative Arts and Technology teaching students completing the Bachelor of Communications and Media.
